Harry Potter is diving back into the LEGO realm. With the release of 9 new sets AND a collectible minifigure series 1, Harry Potter fans are flocking to get their hands on them. I personally am super excited about all the sets, hoping to pick up the brickheadz soon, but there is one set I really NEED. UCS HOGWARTS CASTLE!!
This set has been rumored since the press release of the Harry Potter sents a few months ago. But with Harry Potter's birthday fast approaching (July 31st), I expect the set to be revealed very soon! Some of the rumors:
1. Nanofigure Scale
A lot of people aren't too happy about this. Honestly, this could be the best thing for the set. It gives some scale and playability with the set. It also mean it won't take up a football field or be small enough to be an architecture set.
2. 36 nanofigures and 4 minifigures
Holy Cow! That is a ton! When the Shield Helicarrier came out it only included 12. The set will also include 4 minifigures of the 4 founders of Hogwarts; Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin. And the nanofigures will be teachers and students. Photos are out there, (I have posted before but since taken down).
3. Around 5000-6000 peices!
Massive. Set. This is going to have high detail and accuracy, plus scale! Hope they include the boat house and Hagrid's hut!
4. Price ~ $500 USD
This is a GUESS. Honestly, it could be higher depending on scale. Or lower, $400 if they want it to sell. It's roomered to be twice the part count of the Helicarrier, but they could also be more basic parts. I guess we will have to wait and see to find out!
